Hi there! I’m Adam, and my wife, Lauren, and I are the founders of Zoe Global. I’m a Solomon Islander-Australian who came to Australia when I was 19 with YWAM and married my beautiful blonde Aussie.

I’m a credentialled minister with the Australian Christian Churches, serving at The Gathering Unlimited with Pastor Steve Penny. I’m also a former YWAMer and lifelong member of the South Sea Evangelical Church. In my personal life, I’m a husband, father, under-7s soccer coach, and avid coffee drinker.

Jesus came into my life in a powerful way when I was 17. I was lost and contemplating suicide. God prompted a young adult to come to my house. Full of pride, I tried to ignore him but eventually went along to church. I signed up for youth camp and gave my heart to Jesus. Everything changed. Addictions were broken, suicidal thoughts vanished. I didn’t know how to read the Bible, but I knew Jesus was in my heart. I kept reading and found Jeremiah 29:11. I prayed every night, “God, show me your plan.” My mum, a strong, godly woman, sent me to YWAM and on to Australia.

As I landed at the airport in Australia, I heard God say, “This is your Antioch.” Like Paul, I was to be based here, ministering to surrounding nations, but Australia was to be home. That was in 2003. There’s been a lot of life between then and now, but we’ll share those stories another time. I love missions, the richness of crossing cultures, and I dare to believe in a miracle-working God.

Jesus saved my life, and He can save yours too. Your story is unique, and you are loved completely and uniquely. Your story is not over. God has a plan for your life, and it is good. Declare Jeremiah 29:11 over your life today, and let’s do great things in Jesus’ name.
